Object properties and price matrix

A property is what the visitor chooses from: material, format, print run. A property has values, and the price is calculated not “per object” but per combination of values.

1. Open the object in the “Object management” section and click “Add new property”.
2. In the “New property” window, either choose an existing one in the “Select existing property” list — this way identical characteristics don’t spread across the site in three different spellings — or enter a “Property name *”. Properties the object already has are marked “already added”.
3. Add values: “New value” for your own, or choose a value from the list and click ➕ next to it to take one of the existing values.
4. Use the ← and → arrows to arrange the properties in the order the visitor should see them.

When there are several properties, the price table becomes a matrix: rows are the values of one property, columns are those of another, and the price is in the cell at their intersection. An empty cell means that this combination is not on sale.

If it didn’t work

• After a new property or value, the table shows zeros. This is by design: previous prices pass to the first value of the new property, and the other values get 0 — set prices for them. Reordering properties with the arrows does not affect prices.
• A property with one value takes up an entire column. Properties with a single value do not participate in the matrix — they are shown as an ordinary characteristic of the object.
• You deleted a property and the prices disappeared. That is correct: deleting a property removes all its values, and with them the prices of the combinations. It is worth making a backup before deleting.
