What the form action button can do

1. Click “Add field” and choose the “Action button” type. The field name is the label on the button.
2. The “Button action” field will be filled with a ready-made set: Отправить{}; Скрыть форму; Сообщение{Thank you. Our manager will contact you shortly}.
3. Adjust the set to your needs and save.

Rules are written separated by semicolons, with the argument in curly braces. A semicolon inside the braces is not treated as a separator, so you can safely use it in the message text.

• Отправить{address} — an e-mail with the submission. Empty braces — to the site administrators.
• Скрыть форму — the form disappears after submission.
• Сообщение{text} — text below the form. Empty braces — the standard “Thank you…”.
• Сохранить — the submission is recorded in the form’s orders table.
• Оплатить — the same, plus a redirect to the payment page (details in the “Shop and payment” section).
• Подписаться — the e-mail from the form is added to the site’s subscriber list.
• Назад — return to the previous page, sends nothing.

The “Сохранить” or “Оплатить” rule is executed first, wherever it stands: the e-mail needs the order number. The others go in order. If the e-mail wasn’t sent, the form doesn’t hide and no “thank you” is shown — the visitor will see an error and can try again. The exception is a submission already saved as an order: its processing continues even without the e-mail.

Write rule names in Russian, as in the examples, on the English version of the site too: they are commands, not text, and shouldn’t be translated. Only the message text is translated.

The appearance of buttons is configured with the gear on the button itself — buttons have their own style, separate from input fields.

If it didn’t work

• “У кнопки не задано действие”. The field has no recognizable rules — check the spelling, for example “Скрыть форму”, not “Спрятать”.
• “Слишком часто. Подождите несколько секунд”. There must be 5 seconds between submissions from one browser — this filters out double clicks.
• The “Consent” checkbox is checked, but the form still requires it. If a required field has several options, one checked option is enough. Refresh the page with a cache clear: an old script may have remained in the browser.
