How to label a property's unit (rub., pcs., m²)
← BackIn the property window, choose a «Unit of measurement» — it will appear after each value: in the price table, in filters and on the object page.
- In the «Object management» section, open a section or an object.
- For a new property, click «New property»; for an existing one, click the pencil next to its name (the «Property settings» window).
- Choose a «Unit of measurement» from the list. If the one you need isn't there, choose «Custom option…» and enter your own.
- Save.
The unit is displayed after the value everywhere it is shown: the label and value on the object page, the price table, tabs, filters. In the order form — right in the list items («100 pcs.»).
Units from the list are translated automatically: on the English version of the site «шт.» becomes «pcs». A custom option stays as written in all languages.
Section and objects. A unit set on a section's property spreads to all of its objects together with the name. You can change it for just one object on its page: the pencil next to the property value, the unit row. But the next edit of this property in the section will overwrite it back.
A currency unit is also useful for tiles: if an object has no «Cost» or «Price» property, the first property with a currency unit is treated as the price in the preview template.
If it didn't work
- A new object has the value «Base» in the property. This is how empty section properties used to be filled. It no longer happens, but for old objects the value has to be removed manually.
- The object's unit reverted to the previous one. It was overwritten by an edit of the property in the section — set the desired unit on the section.
