How to translate the interface and content

Translation goes along two tracks, and this is visible from the two progress bars:

• Interface — buttons, field labels, messages of the engine itself. There are about two thousand of them, and they are common to all sites.
• Content — what you wrote: section names, headings, page texts, object descriptions, SEO fields.

1. Open "General settings" → "Site languages".
2. Start the translation and let it finish. It goes in portions — a few lines at a time, to avoid hitting the server's limit on script execution time.
3. If it was interrupted (you closed the tab, connection lost) — just start it again: the translation will continue from where it stopped.

The machine does not override your edits. If you corrected the translation manually, a repeated run will not touch it. The reverse is also true: your edit replaces the machine version.

If it didn't work

• The bar does not reach the end. Start it again — it will continue, not start over.
• You translated, then changed the Russian text. The translation will become outdated: run it again, the changed line will be sent for translation anew.
