How to create a dropdown menu

Create an item with the address "#" — it won't have its own page, but it will group sub-items under it.

  1. In the "Site structure" section, click "Add main item".
  2. In the "URL (alias)" field, enter a single # character. This marks a dropdown item: it has no page of its own, and clicking it just expands the list.
  3. Save.
  4. Now click "+" on this item and add sub-items — each with a regular address.

You can also make an existing section a sub-item: open it and select the dropdown in the "Parent" field.

If it didn't work

  • The item leads to the home page instead of expanding. The address contains /# instead of #. Enter exactly one # character and save.
  • Sub-items are not visible. Check the "Access level" of the sub-items themselves: a hidden sub-item won't appear in the list.
