How to change the order of items and move an item to another part of the menu
← BackOrder — by dragging in the structure tree, menu part — via the "Orientation" field in the section window.
Order. Open "Site structure" and drag the item by its handle to the desired position. The order is saved immediately.
Menu part. Open the item and select "Orientation": column (left, center, right) and tier (top, middle, bottom) — nine combinations. The bottom ones are usually used for the footer.
If it didn't work
- After saving, the item moved to another column by itself. This was the behavior of sections that had an old single-word orientation in the database. This is fixed: select the desired value from the list and save again — it will stick.
- The item doesn't drag. You need to drag by the handle on the left, not by the label.
