How to choose the home page

Open the section you need and check the "Home page" box — there can be only one, and it always lives at the root address of the site.

  1. Open the section that should become the home page.
  2. Check the "Home page" box.
  3. Save. The previous home page will stop being one automatically — there are never two home pages.

The address of the home page is always the site root /: when saving, it is set automatically, in place of the section's previous alias. The previous home page gets its own address built from its name and continues to open at it.

A module is assigned to the home page as usual — with the "Module" field. This is the only section whose module the engine never rewrites by itself, so feel free to put a catalog, a form or your own module there.
