How to choose a module for a section in the module store
← BackThe "Select" button next to the "Module" field opens the module store: search, description and price of each module, "Select this module" — and save the section.
- Open the section window and click "Select" to the right of the "Module" field. The "Module store" will open on the right side of the window.
- Find a module: use the "Search module" box or the category tabs — "Pages and content", "Shop and catalog", "Informers" and others. The "On the site" tab shows modules that are already used somewhere.
- In the list card you can see the price and labels: "Selected" — this section's module, "On the site: N sections" — how many sections of the site use it.
- Click the card — the description, "Module code:" and the cost will open.
- Click "Select this module" — the code will be placed in the "Module" field.
- Click "Save" at the bottom of the section window.
The price on the card is for reference: "Free", per month or one-time. Selecting a module charges nothing. You can still enter the code in the "Module" field by hand.
Keys: Enter in the search opens the first matching card, Esc returns from a card to the list, and from the list closes the store — the section window stays open.
Changing the module. The old module's settings are not passed to the new one: the "Module settings" button is hidden, and a hint appears under the field: "Save the section — after that the new module's settings will appear here.". Save the section and open it again.
If it didn't work
- "This module's description has not been filled in yet." The module exists on the server but is not described in the catalog. It works the same way — it is simply labeled with the folder name.
- I selected a module, but nothing changed on the page. The selection goes only into the field. Click "Save" in the section window.
- "Failed to load the module list". Click "Retry"; if that doesn't help, refresh the page.
