How to place several blocks on a page and change their order

← Back

Another section can be displayed on a page as a section — above or below its text. Order, adding and removing are in the "Page sections" panel of the section window.

A section is another part of the site displayed inside a page: a form, a chain, a text block, an informer. This is how a page is assembled from several parts.

The first section. Hover over the page — plus signs with the hint “Add section above…” / “Add section below…” will appear above and below the blocks. Click the one you need and choose a section.

After that — the panel.

  1. Open the section window and click “Section sections”. The button is visible when the page has at least one section.
  2. The list runs top to bottom, as on the page. The dotted row is this section's own text and module.
  3. Change the order by dragging the ⣿ handle or with the arrows. The order is saved immediately.
  4. “Add section”: choose “Section for the new section” and “Where” — “at the very top”, “above the section content”, “below the section content” or “at the very bottom”, then click “Add”.
  5. The ✖ on a row removes the section from the page. The section itself remains in the structure.

When you close the window, the page will reload and show the new order.

If it didn't work

  • The section you need is not in the list. A section can be placed on the site as a section only once. If it is already placed on another page, create a separate section for this page.
  • A section added earlier sits below the text, although you placed it at the top. Older sections behaved this way. Move it in the panel — after that the order holds.
  • There is no “Section sections” button. The page doesn't have any sections yet: add the first one with the plus sign on the page itself.
