Five steps: log in and change the temporary password if needed, set the name and description, add a logo, build the menu, fill in the texts for search.

  1. Log in to the site. If you created the site while logged in to your account, the “Open site” button lets you in right away. If you created it without logging in, the login link and temporary password are in the e-mail, and the site will itself ask you to change the password on first login. The password on the new site is its own: even with the same e-mail address, passwords are kept separate from then on.
  2. Check the site name and description. The “General settings” section in the admin menu, the “About the site” tab. This is where the tab title, the header caption and the page description for search results come from.
  3. Add a logo and a favicon. A favicon is a small image on the browser tab; without it the site looks unfinished.
  4. Build the menu. The “Site structure” section: add the pages you need, remove the extra ones, arrange the order. A site from a template already has sections — you only need to adjust them to your needs.
  5. Fill in the texts for search. Each section has an SEO title and description; they can be filled in for the whole site at once, using AI.

Everything else — forms, catalog, languages — is added as needed and does not affect how the site works.
