How to log into the admin panel and change the temporary password

1. Open /login on your site (the link is in the email).
2. Enter the email address the email was sent to and the temporary password from it.
3. Immediately change the password in your profile settings — the temporary one was issued once and is stored in your email in plain text.

The password is different on each site. Accounts are tied to the site: even if you already use another site on the same platform with the same email address, after creating a new site the passwords live separately. Changed on one — the other keeps the old one.

If it didn't work

• "Invalid password", but it's the one from the email. Copy it entirely, without a trailing space: a temporary password is easier to paste than to type.
• No email. Check "Spam". Emails from a new domain almost always end up there.
• Password forgotten. The "Forgot password?" link on the login page — the email will be sent to the same address.
