Section disappeared from the menu
← BackMost often its access level changed: values like "Nobody…" remove the item from the menu.
Open "Site structure" — the tree shows all sections, including hidden ones. Check the "Access level": "Nobody. Can follow." removes the item from the menu but leaves the page accessible by link.
If the section is a system one and you deleted it — it wasn't deleted but hidden: the engine protects pages that its operation depends on this way. Restore access to "Everyone", and the item will appear again.
