Quick answers to the most common issues.

Refresh the page with cache clearing — Ctrl+F5 (on Mac ⌘+Shift+R). If that doesn't help, check whether you edited the right section.

Most often the page is served from the browser cache. The engine's styles and scripts update themselves, but the page itself may remain in the browser's memory.

If nothing changed after Ctrl+F5 — check whether you saved the window (the "Save" button) and whether you edited the right section: the site may have several similar pages.

Either there's no section with that URL, or it's set to "Nobody. Close access.".

Open "Site structure" and find the section. Check two fields: "URL (alias)" — the address must match what's in the browser bar — and "Access level": the value "Nobody. Close access." returns 404 to everyone except the administrator.

An address with a dot (e.g. /page.html) isn't considered a section by the engine at all — remove the extension.

Check the recipient address in the form settings and the "Spam" folder; emails from a new domain often end up there.

First check the "Spam" folder — emails from a newly created domain almost always end up there. Mark the email as "not spam", and they'll go to "Inbox" afterwards.

Then check the recipient address in the form settings: a typo in it looks exactly like "emails not arriving".

Open the section, select the desired value in the "Orientation" field and save — then it will stay.

This was the behavior of sections that had an old orientation value left in the database — the engine understood it, but the list in the section window did not, and on saving the default value was substituted, i.e., the top-left zone.

It's fixed once: open the item, select the desired orientation in the list and save.

Most often its access level changed: values like "Nobody…" remove the item from the menu.

Open "Site structure" — the tree shows all sections, including hidden ones. Check the "Access level": "Nobody. Can follow." removes the item from the menu but leaves the page accessible by link.

If the section is a system one and you deleted it — it wasn't deleted but hidden: the engine protects pages that its operation depends on this way. Restore access to "Everyone", and the item will appear again.

The language is determined by the visitor's country and browser settings, and the choice is remembered for a year.

On the first visit, the engine looks at the country by IP address, then at the browser settings. Then it remembers the visitor's choice for a year — so your site may open differently for you than for a colleague from another country.

To check how others see the site, switch the language in the menu or open the address with a prefix directly: /en/ — English version, address without prefix — main language.

Check that you clicked "Save" in the section window itself: the panels inside it do not have their own save button.

The panels "Edit section text", "Module settings", and "SEO promotion" do not have separate save buttons: everything is saved with a single "Save" button at the bottom of the section window. If you closed the window with the X, the changes were not saved.

If the setting resets specifically after saving, rather than being lost when closing, write to us which field it is: such behavior indicates an engine error, not yours.
