How to connect VKontakte and Odnoklassniki group messages

VKontakte

1. Open “Settings” → “VKontakte” (or “Add channel” → “VKontakte”) and click “Connect community”.
2. Fill in “Community name”, “Community ID” and “Community access key” — the key is created in the VKontakte community management, in the API section.
3. In the same place, in the community's Callback API settings, paste the “Callback API address” shown in the multichat window, and enable the events message_new, message_reply, message_edit, message_read and message_typing_state.
4. Use the “Create” button to generate the “Callback API secret key” and enter the same key in VKontakte. In the “Confirmation string” field, paste the string that VKontakte shows for verifying the address.
5. Click “Save”.

Odnoklassniki

1. “Add channel” → “Odnoklassniki” → “New connection”.
2. Get the key: your Odnoklassniki group → “Settings” → “Messages” → “API access” → “Get access key”. Group messages must be enabled.
3. Paste it into “Group access key” and click “Save and connect”. You can leave the name empty.

The multichat recognizes the group by the key on its own, subscribes to notifications and loads the latest conversations. Only direct conversations with the group appear in the multichat.

If it didn't work

• Odnoklassniki stopped working after a new key. A new key cancels the previous one. If the key is used somewhere else, replace it there too.
• VKontakte doesn't confirm the address. First save the connection with the confirmation string, then click the verification button in VKontakte.
