How to sell plans to visitors

Create packages on the "Цены" tab: the visitor chooses a plan during registration or in their personal account, and the price is debited from their balance.

  1. Open «Общие настройки» (/look-admin) → the «Цены» tab.
  2. In the «Добавить пакет» block, fill in the «Название пакета», «Цена (руб)», «Срок действия (мес)» and «Описание» fields. Click «Добавить».
  3. Leave the «Возможности тарифа» block empty: these restrictions apply only to sites created with the builder from your site.
  4. To send people to registration with a plan already selected, give them the link /register?package= with the package number from the ID column in the «Список пакетов».

When packages exist, registration is impossible without a plan. The price is debited from the balance: if there are not enough funds, the balance goes negative until it is topped up. After that, the plan is changed in the personal account with the «Сменить тариф» and «Выбрать тариф для нового периода» buttons.

Renewal happens when the user logs in after the term has ended. A free plan is always renewed; a paid plan only if the balance is not below zero, that is, the previous period has been paid.

The plan itself does not open or close sections: a section's "Access level" does not depend on the plan. A plan is subscription accounting and debiting of funds.

If it didn't work

  • After renaming, the plan stopped renewing. Renewal looks up the plan by name. Do not rename an active plan — create a new one.
  • "Select a package for registration." The visitor did not choose a plan on the registration page.
